Session 16 - Against the Orc Horde

The Heroes traveld with Allustan to the Blackwall Keep on the northern side of the Stump Bog. Along the way the Hereos encountered a number of role playing encounters and one Combat Encounter with the Command Element of an Orc Horde raiding up and down the Dessarin. Storn was Killed and was raised by Vulkus Dun of Tyr. Since Storn is not of the Tyrian Faith the cost is 5,000 gp (members of a faith often get a discount of anywhere from 500gp to 2,000gp). Also Kamist earned an additional Reputation Bonus for entertainment of the Dwarf Artisans. Having returned to Diamond Lake as Champions, who have defeated a major threat to the surrounding area, all the Heroes have recieve an addtional XP and Reputation Award (and will likely also be rewarded by the Garrison with a treasure award as well).

Session 15 - Executive Meeting

The Heroes were summoned to the Garrison where they attended an Executive Meeting, greatly enhancing their Reputation. They also accepted and attended a Dinner at the Spinning Giant, also increasing their Reputation. RP awards, Party Quest Awards, and bonus for Kamist for a special liaison with Lt. Mikkela Venderin. Trogdor awarded for adventuring with Sgt. Voss.

Session 14 - Gralluk and the Ebon Aspect

The Heroes continued their battle against the Ebon Triad and defeated the Bhaal 'visionary' Grallauk Kur. CR XP awards for a large battle verses 8 grimlocks, a large battle verses Gralluk Kur and his troop, and the battle with the Ebon Aspect (CR 8, 3,600 XPs). XP awards for some minor role playing with Trogdor (oh my) taking the lead. Bonus XP awarded for a Party Quest and conclusion of the Ebon Cultists outpost. Well Done.

Session 13 - 'Keep Your Eye on the Bhaal'

The Heroes continued with their assault upon the evil Cultists of Bhaal. They encountered a running battle against the Cultist defeating 9 Grimlock Defenders, 3 Grimlock Archers (which is somewhat of an oxymoron based on them being blind), 2 Ferel Grimlock Barbarians, 4 Choakers, and 3 larger and stronger Grimlocks. The Heroes were also awarded for overcoming 2 simple traps and 1 more complex trap involving a rolling stone sphere. Two PCs were absent and NPC'd (minor XP award), one PC was retired to NPC (Dolgun) and replaced with a new PC (Alobron).

Session 12 - Strike Against Evil

Still deep below the Dourstone Mine, the Heroes cleared the Labyrinth of traps and the Myrkulite Cultist. In a huge battle, they killed the 'Faceless One'. One prisoner was captured, a female human Acolyte of Myrkul named Verizotha, and interrogated. The Heroes also encountered another Spawn of Kyuss and Sparrow was nearly infested with one of the worms. Valcrist reported back via a message spell that Kullen was coming down the mine shaft with another wagon load of supplies. The Heroes tricked Kullen with a clever note and then rested for the night. In the morning the heroes headed after the Bhaal Cultist and were faced with an immediate pitched battle deep below in twisting caverns. Extra XP awards for traps, destruction of evil magical items, and adverting the Kullen encounter awarded.

Session 11 - Against Cultist of the Ebon Triad

Deep below the Dourstone Mine the Heroes of the Three Hills Adventuring Company continued to battle against the Cultist of the Ebon Triad. The Heroes discovered that they are faced with a determined enemy prepared to die for their cause; which appears to be to bring back the gods Bane, Bhaal, and Myrkul (all previously destroyed during the 'Time of Troubles'). To this end, in this Session, the Heroes pushed on against the Cultist of Myrkul where they battled an elusive enemy known as the 'Faceless One' who is obviously crazy and likes to use magical traps and cryptic cyphers to taunt his adversaries.

During the Session the Heroes defeated many Kenku Rogue Cultists, a Kenku Sorcerer Cultist wielding a Wand of Lightning Bolts, and two Dread Guards. The Heroes were awarded XP awards for the CRs to include a number of magical traps. All the PCs were provided with "Session Only' bonus Quests, only three PCs completed these quests. Additionally, the comedy of the Knock Knock...Knock Knock...Knock Knock...BOOM was worth a bonus RP XP award to all.

Session 10 - Lair of the Evil Cultists

Deep below the Dourstone Mine the Heroes, joined by Hein and Sparrow, continued to battle the "Eviiil" Cultists of Bane. Though a dead god, the Heroes discovered evidence of the Cultists' efforts to bring back the dead god and merge him into an Epic 'Overgod' by merging the essences of Bane, Bhaal, and Myrkul and ushering in apocalyptic 'Age of Worms'. The battle below was fierce and the Heroes survived a clever trap in which the Party was meant to be trapped in the Battle Arena of Bane where they could be devoured by worm infested undead creatures resembling rapid moving and powerful zombies. Here the Heroes battled three powerful clerics of Bane and additional human and teifling cultists. Nice Job. Only one player quest was turned in.
